1. Acceptance of Terms
By providing your phone number and opting in through our website or any associated form, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text (e.g., SMS and MMS) messages from Friends and Families for Belleville(hereafter “we,” “us,” or “our”). These messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system, to the mobile telephone number you provided or any other number you designate. All the different types of messages you may receive—including, but not limited to, informational messages, recurring marketing messages, fundraising messages, and on-demand reply messages—are referred to collectively as the “Programs.”
- Consent to receive automated marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
2. Message Frequency and Cost
- Message Frequency: Frequency of text messages may vary. We reserve the right to change the frequency at any time, which may increase or decrease the total number of messages you receive. We also reserve the right to change the phone number or short code from which messages are sent.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Please consult with your carrier for rate information. Not all mobile devices or handsets may be supported, and our messages may not be deliverable in all areas. We and our service providers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
3. Cancellation (Opt-Out)
- To stop receiving text messages from a specific Program, text STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to the number or short code from which you received our message at any time.
- Once we receive your opt-out request, we will send a final confirmation message. After that, you will no longer receive texts from that specific Program.
- Please note you may be subscribed to multiple Programs. You will need to text STOP (or one of the other keywords) to each number or short code if you wish to discontinue all SMS communications across all Programs.
4. Support

- Please note that texting HELP or emailing us does not opt you out of the Program; opt-out requests must be sent as described in the Cancellation section.
5. Disclaimer of Warranty
- Our text messaging Programs are offered on an “as-is” basis and may not be available in all areas at all times. They may also cease to function if there are product, software, coverage, or other changes made by your wireless carrier.
- We are not liable for any delays or failures in the receipt of messages, as this may be affected by your wireless service provider/network operator. We cannot guarantee message delivery at all times.
6. Privacy and Data Use
- We will only use information you provide (such as your phone number) to transmit your mobile messages and respond to you if necessary.
- This may include sharing information with our partners, message content providers, phone companies, and vendors assisting in the delivery of mobile messages.
- Except as outlined above, we do not sell, rent, loan, trade, lease, or otherwise transfer for profit any phone numbers or customer information collected through our Programs to any third party.
- We reserve the right, at all times, to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation, or governmental request; to avoid liability; or to protect our rights or property.
7. Accuracy of Information
- By completing our forms or otherwise providing us information in connection with any Program, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and true information.
- Using a false or misleading name or a name you are not authorized to use could result in being refused access to our Programs or potential legal action.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time by posting a revised version on our website. Your continued participation in our Programs signifies your acceptance of any changes.
